MANALAPAN, NJ, March 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fourth through eighth grade students will be featuring their reporting and interviewing skills when they interview a national television celebrity, New Jersey business leader and Monmouth County detective. The students are all culminating their experience in the Communication Station for Kids Be A Reporter and Talk Show programs.

The group of four Manalapan students enrolled in the Communication Station for Kids Talk Show program will be focusing on cell phone usage by children 13 years of age and younger; it is a timely and pertinent topic that reflects their age and centers around their life experiences. They will be interviewing David Samberg, Verizon Wireless and Nick Bruccoliere, Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

The Communication Station for Kids Be A Reporter program helps children build essential written and verbal communication life skills in a unique and exciting format. Students explore their personal interests while gaining expert instruction in Internet research, news and feature story structure, word usage, paraphrasing techniques and vocal exercises. "We foster creativity and excitement for learning by offering children a new hands-on approach to writing. I create a newsroom atmosphere where ideas are bounced around the room and group discussion is encouraged," says Judith Drucker, Founder and Instructor, Communication Station for Kids .

The CSFK Talk Show takes students to the next level of communication sophistication. Students work in groups, learning negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal communication skills - all in a natural setting. They do all the research and writing as done in the Be A Reporter program, but this time there are no cue cards. They learn their material and speak conversationally with the other TV Show Hosts about their topic.
