Yankee Ferryboat to Hold July 4th Events to Benefit Integrity House
Fireworks Viewing and Arts & Boutique Sale aboard Historic Vessel

NEWARK, NJ, June 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Integrity House, a nationally recognized substance abuse rehabilitation center with locations in Newark and Secaucus, announces two exciting events to take place July 4th weekend aboard the historic Yankee Ferry in Hoboken, New Jersey. Proceeds from the events will benefit the Integrity Initiative for Women & Children. The weekend will present an Arts & Boutique Sale and Yankee Ferry Fireworks Event, providing a magnificent view of the legendary Macy's Fireworks Spectacular.

"We are thrilled to announce these new Independence Day events, which are made possible by the generosity of Yankee Ferry owners and artists Victoria and Richard MacKenzie-Childs. For years, Victoria and Richard have supported the efforts of Integrity House's Gala Committee and are now coordinating the July 4th events with the Committee," said David Kerr, Founder and President of Integrity House. "We anticipate a wonderful showing, and hope to make this an unforgettable weekend for all attendees. We are truly grateful for the necessary funding we receive through our charitable events, which help create a remarkable, lasting impact on Integrity House's continued success."

The Arts & Boutique Sale will take place on Saturday, July 3, and Sunday, July 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a $10 entry fee to benefit Integrity House. Once aboard, shoppers can browse numerous arts, jewelry and boutique vendors displaying their unique designs. In addition to Victoria & Richard Emprise, the Collections of Victoria & Richard MacKenzie-Childs, vendors include internationally recognized artist Phillipe Valy, Rotating Galleries, John Masi, Draped in Elegance, Beanie Babies Galore, Book Nook and others. During the sale, attendees are invited to purchase a range of drinks and snacks and to make souvenir photos with a hand-painted Statue of Liberty cutout.

Built in 1907 as a luxury steam ferry, Yankee Ferry is now the oldest floating vessel in the Northeast. Arts & Boutique Sale attendees will have the opportunity to tour Yankee Ferry and the MacKenzie-Childs' living quarters, enjoying a rare and authentic glimpse of American history, for a $10 charge.

A perfect conclusion to the weekend events, the Yankee Ferry will offer a front-row viewing of the stunning Macy's Fireworks Spectacular on July 4th at 9:20 p.m. For $50, guests of all ages can board the Ferry starting at 7 p.m. Those interested are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible, as tickets are limited.
